Has anyone ever stumbled across the website urbandictionary.com? I had no idea it existed until last week. Urban Dictionary "is the slang dictionary you wrote," at least that what it says on it's site. So, I decided to look up some words. Of course, the first word I searched for was "Republican."
1. Republican: An individual who believes that the white male Christian God should be the only object of worship on the planet, that power and wealth should remain in the hands of 1% of the world's population while the remaining 99% starve, that health care should be privatized so the poor can't afford basic medication, that a rape victim living on welfare should be forced to care for a baby she didn't even ask for, and that America is the only real country on Earth while all those other countries they read about are just fakes invented by communists...oh wait, it's terrorists now, isn't it?
What the hell kind of definition is that? I am not a white male but I do think God should be the only object of worship on the planet (what's wrong with that? Muslims think Allah and their prophet should be the only form of worship). I think wealth should remain with the people who have earned it (I'm working for mine, work for yours!). Power should belong to the people not the government and America is the only real country on Earth. Why would I consider any other country to be equal or better than mine? What's wrong with being proud?
That's the problem with bleeding heart liberals (yeah, I said it). They would rather disregard our Country, hate on people who are patriotic and blame it on "the Man" then take accountability for their actions and force others (i.e. folks on welfare for 20 years-that don't have mental issues) to become responsible for their lives.
Granted, the current Republican party is not what it should be or what it could be; but, it damn sure isn't the aforementioned definition.
